The NHL lock-out has already cost the league over a quarter BILLION dollars in revenue, and that’s only in the preseason. The real losers, however, are the fans. Let’s hope that all parties involved resolve the money issues and get back to what it’s really about - playing the game.
Recently we received a large quantity of vintage Sports Specialties wool hats (you’ll see more of them in upcoming posts). Among them were these awesome Wild caps. Let’s hope for everyone’s sake that the NHL comes back or this is gonna be a shit year for NHL merchandise!

Here’s another blast from the past for ya! Anyone remember KNUCKLE PUCK TIME?
These hats were originally sold at the Disney Store back in the early 1990s, and feature the old-school Ducks colorway and logo. Personally I can’t see why they dropped the “Mighty” from the team name or switched to the new logo, but it probably has something to do with Disney owning it in the past and not now. I know that Disney wasn’t allowing them to produce merchandise with the old logo for some time, but this may have changed since then. Either way, Ducks are among the coolest looking hats out there, Teal and Purple make an awesome color combination and the Ducks goal-tender mask logo is cool and intimidating at the same time. In my opinion, no Snapback collection is complete without a Mighty Ducks hat! We’ve got several in our store for you to check out, starting with the link below.

The San Jose Sharks have one of the coolest logos in ANY sport, Professional or otherwise. I can remember rocking Sharks gear as a kid in Ohio back in the early 90s just because of how cool it looked. And their name - The Sharks - How can you get more badass than a freakin SHARK?! Unboxing videos are always good. This guy is so excited. I think he’s Canadian because they are hockey joints. He was smart enough to cut the boxes open before he made the video too! haha.
